Risk-Controlled Solar PV Asset Recovery
Solar Circles operates under a compliance-first operating model designed to minimise legal, safety, environmental, and custody risk across every project.
Compliance is not a support function.
It is the
core product.
Work Health & Safety (WHS)
Solar Circles conducts asset recovery activities within defined WHS boundaries.
Our operating posture includes:
- Project-specific risk assessment prior to mobilisation
- Approved handling methodologies aligned to site conditions
- Clear demarcation of responsibilities between Solar Circles and third parties
- No electrical disconnection or live electrical works
- No rooftop, residential, or ad-hoc labour activities
Where required, project-specific safety documentation is prepared or reviewed prior to commencement.
Method Statements & Safe Work Practices
All recovery activities are executed in accordance with:
- Approved handling methodologies
- Documented work sequencing
- Defined exclusion zones and access controls
- Asset protection and segregation requirements
Solar Circles does not commence work outside approved methods.
Any deviation requires reassessment and approval before continuation.
Chain of Custody & Asset Control
Assets are treated as controlled equipment, not waste.
Controls include:
- Defined custody responsibility at each handover point
- Asset identification and manifesting
- Secure packaging, labelling, and handling
- Documentation of transfers, storage, and transport
If custody cannot be clearly defined or documented, the project is paused.
Environmental & Regulatory Compliance
Solar Circles manages recovery activities with regard to:
- Environmental handling requirements
- Jurisdictional transport and storage obligations
- Controlled handling of damaged or non-conforming assets
- Alignment with downstream processing or destination requirements
Assets are not assumed to be waste unless formally classified as such.
Insurance & Risk Alignment
Solar Circles operates within clearly defined insurance and risk parameters.
Projects are assessed for:
- Scope alignment with insurance coverage
- Interface risks with subcontractors or third parties
- Liability transfer points
- Exclusions and non-covered activities
Work outside insurable scope is not undertaken.
Audits, Records & Defensibility
Each project generates a compliance record appropriate to scope, which may include:
- Risk assessments and approvals
- Chain-of-custody documentation
- Handling confirmations
- Exception and non-conformance records
These records are designed to support:
- Internal audits
- Insurer review
- Regulatory enquiries
- Contractual defence
What This Page Is Designed To Do
- Reduce uncertainty for risk holders
- Prevent unsafe or uninsured work
- Establish defensible operating boundaries
- Protect clients from downstream liability
This is why Solar Circles works with:
- Asset owners
- EPCs
- Operators
- Insurers
- Project managers
And does not accept:
- Residential work
- Live electrical activities
- Ad-hoc or informal recovery requests
Starting a Compliant Project
Solar Circles does not mobilise without formal intake and compliance review.
Compliance is not optional.
It is the condition of engagement.
